
Amicus was founded in 1998 by Ravi Laljani,
who is also the co-founder of Integrys, Inc., the firm
responsible for EZMed solutions for medical practice
management. He has a proven track record of developing
effective solutions involving web & database application
development. He has led Amicus projects (see Software
& Database Consulting) and the development of the
PaperChase line of software (see Products). In addition,
he has provided training in database design for clinical
research.

Vaishali Parikh manages the medical
software and services business. Ms. Parikh is familiar
with medical office computerized billing, including
ICD-9/CPT/HCPS coding and claims processing. Her software
skills include database management with Microsoft
Access, EZMed and Medisoft (medical practice management
& billing software), and Cyrillic (pedigree software).
Ms. Parikh has over 17 years of research experience
in leading medical research institutions in the US,
France, India and England, with publications in peer-reviewed
journals, and an academic background in chemistry
and immunology.
Anya Nagarkar has over 20 years experience
in software development, including web application
development, hosting services (system and network
administration) support, database programming and
DBA services, and client server software development.
He has developed applications using a variety of software
languages (JSP, Java JavaScript, ASP, PHP and Visual
Basic) and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase,
Access). He has worked as the DBA for Oracle and SQL
Server databases, and has supported the System and
Network Administration of SUN and Windows servers
and iPlanet and IIS web servers.
Tanmay Panchwagh has over eight years
experience with C/C++, HTML, XML, Perl, SQL, SQLJ,
and J2EE technologies such as EJB/JSP/Servlets, on
the Unix and NT platforms. He has also used various
leading tools & databases such as Rational Rose,
Jbuilder, Visual Café, DreamWeaver, HomeSite,
Motif, Oracle, Ingres, Interbase, and UML. He has
developed applications for air traffic control, oilfield
services, the airline industry, and has worked on
a rules editor application for a leading Java-based
rules engine.
